Student Posters Track (WER-ST)

Important Dates

  • Title and abstract submission deadline: May 23rd, 2024
  • Paper submission: May 30th, 2024
  • Notification: June 18th, 2024
  • Camera-ready: July 22nd, 2024

This track is aimed at undergraduate students in Computer Science majors. Therefore, article authors may be one or more students under a professor's supervision, the name and role of whom must be included in the article.

Articles on Requirements Engineering originating from coursework, final degree projects, theses and dissertations, or research work are welcome.

Topics of Interest

Topics of interest are listed below. List is not exhaustive.

  • Requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, modeling, management, traceability, prioritization, validation and verification, and negotiation;
  • Requirements engineering education and training;
  • Requirements engineering for specific software development paradigms, e.g., agent-driven, aspect-driven, model-driven, or service-driven paradigms;
  • Requirements engineering for specific domains, e.g., mobile, web-based, or safety-critical application systems;
  • Requirements engineering in agile methodologies;
  • Requirements specification languages, methods, processes, and tools;
  • Model-driven software engineering;
  • Artificial Intelligence in Requirements Engineering;
  • Regulatory compliance.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be sent to estudainteswer2024@gmail.com in PDF format only. Submissions can be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, and should be five to ten pages long, following LNCS format.

Any paper that exceeds the page limit, lies beyond the scope of the conference, or does not follow the formatting guidelines will be desk-rejected.

Responsibility for paper reviews will lie with the Program Committee.

Accepted papers will be published on the WER 2024 website. The posters corresponding to accepted works will be presented at the event.
