The International Conference on Requirements Engineering WER began in 1998 as a Workshop on Requirements Engineering. Since then, WER has been held every year in different cities in America and Iberian Peninsula. WER is now looking forward to cover ground and is on the lookout for other cities around the world to host the upcoming events.
WER is the best place to present and discuss progress in research, software development, international standards, and software tools and their applications on the topic of Requirements Engineering (RE) and future trends, such as AI & RE, Data Science & RE, Robotics & RE, and others.
WER 2024 will offer a high-quality program consisting of research sessions, mini tutorials, industry panels, doctoral and master's thesis sessions, student posters and industry product exhibitions. There will also have case study presentations for practitioners and international keynote speakers.
WER 2024 will be an in-person conference with live streaming of keynotes. It will be a special space for enriching discussions among attendees.
In 2024, the 27th edition will be held in the city of Buenos Aires and hosted by the University of Belgrano. This new edition is organized by a Local Organizing Committee composed by Dr. Graciela Hadad (UB and UNO), Mg. Paula Angeleri (UB, UNLaM and UTN) and Dr. Leandro Antonelli (UNLP and UAI), as well as a great International Academic Committee.
